Which devices are able to consume with AirTags?

Any iPhones 6S onward can download the iOS recommended software. But iOS 15 will only be placed with the iPhone 7 and the later versions. From this, we can come to the conclusion that the 6S might not get future patches to the software.  You can also run the recommended software on the iPod Touch which is 7th Gen.

The precision Finding can be worked in AirTags if your iPhone contains Ultra Wideband. This means you need to have an iPhone 11, iPhone 12, or any of their sisters’ phones that have a pack of Apple’s U1 chip inside.

Methods to set set up AirTags in the ‘Find My App’

After you unbox your AirTags, set your iPhone or iPad closer by pulling the battery tag out of the tracker. Then you have to hear a beeping sound. After an animated window shows the AirTag must appear on your device interface. Also if you don’t have the correct version, they recommend downloading the software update.

To set up the App follow the below guide.

1. Tap Connect window then prompt to name the tracker.
2.  Hit Continue the prompts and register the AirTags’s location with your Apple ID.
3. Open the Find My App.
4. Tab the items tab and select +New Item.  The Add AirTag will be the default option. So tap it and move your AirTag then to your device again to add it.

If you follow the above steps correctly you will take a couple of minutes to start.

Method to find your items with your airbag 

After you’ve activated your AirTag and clipped it to something. We will see how exactly it works, with or without the Apple U1 chip that has Ultra Wideband.

If your item is missing somewhere in you around. Then follow these steps.

1. Open the ‘ Find My App’.
2. Select the item tab and select the missing AirTag.
3. Hit the play sound.
4. By the signal that is sent from your phone to AirTag, a  noise will be emitted to find your missing item.
